The Florida Channel Visited Westminster Oaks to Learn About New Generator Requirements
October 19, 2018
Being prepared for hurricanes is an annual reality for providers in Florida and one of the keys to continuing to serve the residents and the Mission of our organization. Recently, The Florida Channel produced a story about how Continuing Care Retirement Communities, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities are now required by the State of Florida to upgrade their backup generators, to deal with power outages during and after a storm. We were proud to have Westminster Oaks featured in this story. As Tallahassee’s first choice for active senior living, we are dedicated to providing great service and quality care to our residents at all times.
