Who is Westminster Communities of Florida?
Discover more about our mission of service
Our mission is to serve people — residents, team members and our neighbors in the greater community. As a faith-based, not-for-profit organization, our sole purpose is to serve older adults, by providing beautiful and quality environments to enhance lifestyles at every level of independence.
The Westminster Communities of Florida story starts in 1954, with the First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton chartering Westminster Manor, and quickly moves to Central Florida with communities in Winter Park and Orlando. Today, we’re happy to serve more than 7,000 residents in 22 communities throughout the state, offering active, independent living, assisted living and nursing care in our 10 Continuing Care Retirement Communities, as well as affordable communities for low-income seniors.
We’re a strong partner for your retirement, with a fiscally sound, A- rating from Fitch Ratings, recently reaffirmed in May 2015, and a Mission-driven commitment to good stewardship of our resources and the environment.
No matter what you choose, we know you’ll find something to make you happy at a Westminster community. Find out how we can brighten your day — call (800) 948-1881 or click here to contact us now to learn more!
