LeadingAge Florida’s Advocate Of The Year Award Given To Westminster CFO Hank Keith
September 2, 2021
Today, LeadingAge Florida honored Westminster Communities of Florida’s CFO, Hank Keith, for his extraordinary advocacy for older adults – far beyond the residents of Westminster communities, and throughout the state.
The announcement was made at LeadingAge Florida’s 58th Annual Conference, held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.
Keith was recognized for his exceptional dedication to the older adults who choose to live in senior living communities throughout Florida. He was recognized for his countless to advocate for the aging services field through the Florida Legislature over the past several years. His cultivated expertise and personal integrity make him a highly regarded, well-respected, trusted, and much loved individual among the many in our field. In the recent past, he testified in front of the Florida House when the Legislature was considering healthcare spending cuts to CARES Act funding to address a projected $2.7 billion shortfall in the state budget. His expert testimony helped the committee and the Legislature understand the impact of CARES Act and PPP loan funding, increased expenses, and decreased occupancy levels in senior living communities.
Over the years, he has participated in many conferences, leadership forums, and seminars to share his knowledge and expertise with others in an effort to aid in their success, from LeadingAge and LeadingAge Florida, to The Senior Care Investor, Ziegler and many more.
Keith has served Westminster Communities of Florida and its residents since 1993, first as controller, and then as Chief Financial Officer since 1994. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Florida, and a recognized speaker at many meetings in the field of senior housing and services.
Westminster Communities of Florida is proud to have such an exceptional leader contributing to our Mission. It is through his hard work that we are able to serve older adults throughout Florida and make the greater communities we serve stronger at the same time.
Please join us in congratulating Hank Keith on this award!
